Our Web Site Makeover!

Introducing Our New Site

University Publishing is pleased to publicly introduce our new web site, utilizing the Content Management System and related tools developed by our Web Services team and installed for many University offices.  We are excited to be able to convert our site to this powerful technology.

As our staff members become accustomed to an environment where daily updates are easy and non-technical, we look forward to making our site more informative and useful to the campus community.  Some examples include daily updates from the US Postal Service regarding delivery status during the southern California fires, and notices about our copyright education seminars .  We are incorporating ideas and suggestions from staff, clients, and our advisory board to add new features and update others.

Quality communications and accurate specifications for your publishing projects are critical to the success of your publications.  We encourage you to work closely with a publications coordinator and submit your printing orders online. Therefore, we have added a “Find Your Coordinator” link on the home page, as well as a new online order submission form for printing projects.  These new features complement the existing online orders for university stationery, CougarCopies, mailing supplies, and WSU Press books.  All online ordering is available from the “Start Here” link in the left navigation.

We hope you will take time to explore our printing portfolio , examples of web applications, News & Events, comment card, and searchable staff directory.  Future plans include a publication spotlight, success tips, and planning guide.  We also are working toward a “My UP” interface that will capture client information and allow you to track progress of your work.

We welcome your comments and suggestions using the online comment card , email, or by calling 335-3518.
