CougarCopies has the solution. Our digital copiers/printers can capture text, line art, photos, and halftones from your Macintosh or PC files, or original documents, and then convert them to digital masters.
Digital masters are scanned once, unlike regular photocopiers where your original documents are cycled through a document handler over and over. This one-time scan opens up many manipulation possibilities including the opportunity to crop images, combine text and graphics from different originals, cut and paste, add halftone screens to photos, automatically number pages, and so much more! These features are especially helpful for document creation, such as grant proposals, where the highest possible quality is required.
What this means for you is that you can send your file to us electronically over the network, and have your order completed for you without ever leaving your office! When you send your document to us electronically, every copy is an original. The quality is unmatched.
We can open these file types:

Word (.docx, .doc, .rtf, .dot, and .txt)

With all of the above we may not be able to match some fonts. This may cause a change in the appearance of the document.

Portable Document Format (.pdf)
No concerns about matching fonts! That's why this is our favorite.

Graphics files (.bmp, .jpg, .gif, and .tif)
We cannot open these file types:

PhotoShop (.psd): Please save as .pdf.

InDesign (.indd): Please save as .pdf.

Works (.wps): Please save as .rtf.

Instructions for sending your job to the DocCenter copiers:
Once your job is completed, we have the ability to save
it electronically. This feature can be a
valuable time-saver for your department if you have
brochures, mailers, or any material that is distributed
regularly, then recopied as you need it. Ask us to save
it for you on a CD. The next time you need it, just send
us your CD.
